Disneylandia 2012 + more

We recently went to Disneyland/So Cal for a few days. We went with the whole Grossen crew. 16 in total counting kids.  We left on Wed afternoon and came back Monday night. We spent 2 days at Disneyland and a day at the beach. Avery was awesome the whole time and we love her so much.
As usual here are some photos to explain the trip.



 For the most part Avery liked the rides, here she is on the bugs life ride? Its cool because throughout the ride it sprays scents in the air, like watermelon and brown sugar.

Kate loved her Minnie Mouse pajamas she wore them the whole first day. 

 Cars land, for the most part all the lines weren't too bad. We waited in line for maybe 30 mins for the Radiator Springs Racer Fast Pass then maybe another 20 mins in line. It was a fun ride. But I think my fav are Toy Story, Indiana Jones and Tower of Terror.

 The first day it was pretty hot so being outside in the sun meant Benny boy here was sweatin bullets. Brit was feeding Avery and under that fabric it must be a sauna because she came out drippin. At least she has one of my attributes.

And on day 1, she was pooped at 11:14 PM. it was a long day.

Day 3 was Saturday. Chilling at the Newport Beach. What a cool chick.

We had to resort to using the sink at the hotel to bathe her. Worked out pretty well.

That night we celebrated Kate's and Sophie's 2nd Birthdays with a Minnie mouse party.

This was a day ago, her hair is getting long.

Let's see how many kids know who these guys are. My bro's boys are into this guy. HM.

She has recently learned how to turn over. We love her so much.

2 months!

Avery turned 2 months yesterday. I can't believe how fast time goes with a baby. I love every minute with her. She had her 2 month check-up yesterday. Here are her stats:

weight: 10 lbs. 6 oz. (39%)
height: 23 in. (75%)
head: 39.3 cm. (65%)

So she has gained about 3 lbs. and grown 2 inches. Getting shots was no fun. We laid her on the table. I was up by her head holding her hands and she looked right up at me. I felt so bad. She screamed pretty good. She slept for awhile after. When she woke up she was not happy. I saw her very first tear come down her face. It took awhile for the medicine to kick in and even then she was still a little fussy. Today she is doing great though. Hopefully 4 months doesn't come to fast.

They gave her some Tasmanian Devil band-aids.

We love our little girl and so glad she is feeling better!

Swimming

Yesterday our friends Travee and Claudia invited us to go swimming at their neighborhood pool. I wasn't sure if I wanted Avery to get in, but we got her in her swimsuit and she had her first experience in the pool. She was pretty cute in her swimming suit!

After getting use to it she loved it.

Now we are ready for California next week!

Some other big news. Last night Avery slept from about 10-6! It felt nice to sleep through the night. We will see if we are lucky again tonight!

Another Avery Update!

It has been awhile since the last Avery post. So here is an update with lots of pictures and some cute videos!

 She is doing great and is lots of fun. She is still very content and a pretty good sleeper. Her and Ben take lots of naps together. I love this first picture of them.

 

 

She has wonderful cousins. Little Sophie loves "baby" and is so cute with her.

She loves bath time. When we take her out she starts screaming pretty good.

She is starting to get more personality and I love it. I love her smile and all the cute faces she makes.

Our little strawberry

We blessed her on August 5th in our ward. Ben did a wonderful job and she did great. We had everyone over to our house after for some yummy home made cafe rio salads! Thanks everyone for coming. We love you all and are blessed to have such great people in our life. More pictures to come, but here is another four generations picture.

This little girl is the best. I love being her mom and spending all my time with her!

One night after I fed her she had zonked on my lap. I looked down and saw her doing this:

She did it on and off for about ten minutes. It made me laugh. I'm glad I got a video of it! Love her!
