We knew stinkies had 2 teeth coming in on the bottom. But she would NOT let us ever see them let alone snap a photo of them. I was able to snap this one yesterday. She hasn't been too extra fussy so that is good. Love her so much.

The Texas Two Step

Let's start off with Dancin! 

For the last few months Avery has been getting her Boogie On whenever she hears music. We got her Getting Down for a few seconds. John Travolta eat your heart out.

She is funny.

Avery has been standing for a few months now and she walks and walks around our coffee table as well as her play station. She goes round and round time after time. So she is walking pretty well and just barley hangs on when she does. I kept telling Brit I think she could walk if she wanted to because I would hold her hand and let go and she would stand then go down on her own. Alas she finally took her first step. It was only one or two steps but I'm going to go ahead and count it. 

"Bath Time". 

We put Avery in the Bath Tub for the first time for her Bath the other night. It was nice because she normally likes to splash around in her other baby tub and the carpet would get wet but in the normal tub she can splash to her hearts content. She liked it. Although we need to get a grippy mat for the bottom because she kept wanting to stand up and she slipped once and bumped her nose. Poor little lady, her first bloody nose..... :(    She was a trooper though and only cried for a minute.

On a side note I recently made a snowboard movie just for fun( I know, a little cheesey) with the help of Richards computer. I worked on it for maybe 1.5 hrs a week for the last month or so. I did it just for fun and it came out OK, although Brit continually thinks I am a nerd for doing it. Here it is. Don't worry about watching the whole thing, it's kinda long. The music is good.

On the move

Avery is on the move. She is all over the place, crawling, scavenging, climbing, exploring. Almost 10 month old now and love her so much.

Photo Blast

Quick photoblast from the last month or so. Avery is growing up fast and learning new things everyday, she is starting to get into everything and making messes everywhere. But we love her so much so it is ok. It is crazy how fast she is growing. Brits sister Brooke had a baby girl (congrats) and it's crazy how much smaller she is than Avery and they are only 6 months apart.

Some new things she has been doing lately: When she doesn’t want to eat something she seals her lips and blinks. When she seals her lips good luck trying to get anything in. Might as well nickname them “Fort Knox”, because there’s no getting in! Believe me I have tried. 

She has tried a few new foods lately too. She really likes Yogurt and avocado (daddy too).

She has been kinda saying “Da Da” lately. At least I’d like to think that is what she is saying. Many times she will say it really soft like she is whispering.  Love her.

The weather is warming up so can’t wait to get this little lady outside to do some fun stuff.

Portland, OR 2013

We had a great time in Portland last weekend. We will try and post more photos later.

Here is a video of Avery’s first time sledding. Not sure what she thought as her facial expression didn’t really change but I did have fun with her and can’t wait to do more fun stuff like this with her. Thanks to the GoPro for the video.

Andy and I were able to go snowboarding at Mt Hood.  I look forward to snowboarding with Andy at each chance we can get. I strapped my GoPro onto a pole and held it off a jump. It was a beautiful day and we had a good time.

 Brit was a hot commodity at the house, the Boys were wanting her to play games with them or they were more than willing to help bathe Avery.  I think those boys would play video games all day long if they could, I think every 20 mins Loggan or Park dawg would come up and ask “Can I see your phone?”. The go to excuse was “Oh, sorry buddy it’s almost dead so it’s charging”

 Oregon is a very pretty state, especially when it’s sunny and in the summer.
