On the move

Avery is on the move. She is all over the place, crawling, scavenging, climbing, exploring. Almost 10 month old now and love her so much.

Photo Blast

Quick photoblast from the last month or so. Avery is growing up fast and learning new things everyday, she is starting to get into everything and making messes everywhere. But we love her so much so it is ok. It is crazy how fast she is growing. Brits sister Brooke had a baby girl (congrats) and it's crazy how much smaller she is than Avery and they are only 6 months apart.

Some new things she has been doing lately: When she doesn’t want to eat something she seals her lips and blinks. When she seals her lips good luck trying to get anything in. Might as well nickname them “Fort Knox”, because there’s no getting in! Believe me I have tried. 

She has tried a few new foods lately too. She really likes Yogurt and avocado (daddy too).

She has been kinda saying “Da Da” lately. At least I’d like to think that is what she is saying. Many times she will say it really soft like she is whispering.  Love her.

The weather is warming up so can’t wait to get this little lady outside to do some fun stuff.

Portland, OR 2013

We had a great time in Portland last weekend. We will try and post more photos later.

Here is a video of Avery’s first time sledding. Not sure what she thought as her facial expression didn’t really change but I did have fun with her and can’t wait to do more fun stuff like this with her. Thanks to the GoPro for the video.

Andy and I were able to go snowboarding at Mt Hood.  I look forward to snowboarding with Andy at each chance we can get. I strapped my GoPro onto a pole and held it off a jump. It was a beautiful day and we had a good time.

 Brit was a hot commodity at the house, the Boys were wanting her to play games with them or they were more than willing to help bathe Avery.  I think those boys would play video games all day long if they could, I think every 20 mins Loggan or Park dawg would come up and ask “Can I see your phone?”. The go to excuse was “Oh, sorry buddy it’s almost dead so it’s charging”

 Oregon is a very pretty state, especially when it’s sunny and in the summer.

My GoPro has so many uses: Snowboarding, Motocross, other outdoor activities, and......feeding a baby.

Avery has been eating rice cereal and Oatmeal for a few weeks now and she loves them both. A few months back I bought Brit a "Baby Bullet" to make her own baby food. Brit went and bought some fruits and veggies the other day, steamed them and we let Avery have her first try at something with some sort of flavor. The first day we tried apples. She liked it during the first few minutes then she pulled these funny faces on us. Not sure what changed in the few minutes between. . . .

She is so funny. Love her.
