March Happenings

March happenings. Here are few videos and photos from the month of march. Sorry about the sparse postings lately but I have been posting most stuff on Facebook. But alas here they are.

I went snowboarding with Brit's dad and fam. the other day at The Bird. I don't really make it to the bird that often so it was a nice change from Brighton. The Bird has awesome terrain. It's steep and has a great choice of terrain. Here I am in front of The Birds Tunnel to access back behind the Mtn. to Mineral Basin. You can see the light at the end of the tunnel! (Literally and Figuritively)

A friend from the ward was called to serve in Independence MO. Here are Brit and I at her Farewell Party.

We try and make it a yearly event when we go snowboarding at Brighton. We BBQ with Hot Dogs and Burgers some time in the Spring. This saturday we chose was great, the weather was great and the hot dogs tasted sooooo good after a few hours of hard riding.

Trav, A-bag, Cole, Shaffer, Josh, Brit and I went to Mesquite to ride a few weekends ago, the weather was awesome and it's always good to have a mini trip to Southern Utah to Visit the Cluffs, ride and enjoy the weather.

2nd video is of me from Brighton yesterday. We found a great spot to hit. Here I am doing a front 3. Prob one of my best shots to date. That ones for you Drew boy.

I took Tells to Brighton for night boarding one night, she got a new set up and did pretty darn good for only her 2nd time riding.

Saturday at Brighton

Last Saturday Alex, Rob, RT, Nate, and I went to Guardsman to build a jump. We found a little drop up from the Jump we built so we hit that. It was sweet and a little hard to get to. But alas it was well worth the hike and build. I gapped in between 2 trees. It was a fun day!

More to come, I just need to upload more of the videos to my Computer.

The Canyons

My Bro., Drew and I went to ride the Canyons this past Saturday. I always have a good time riding with Andy as we always make the best/funnest of any situation.

NEW WHIP

So I got a new whip. 04 Nissan Frontier. It's been kept up and has low miles (38,000). It has four doors, 4-wheel drive and my bike and sled fit in back, What more could I ask for! I like it so far and plan on having it for a long time.





Travee and I went up to Guardsman on Sat. to use the sled. We didn't get too back there as we didn't really know the area that well. We pretty much stayed on the beaten path and had a good learning experience.








Went to Brighton snowboarding and the snow was awesome. There is a pretty good cliff we know about so we went and hit it up.


I also went to Portland to visit Andy and his family. I always love seeing the boys. They sure are a handfull and I don't know how Rachy does it every day. We had a great time visiting and riding at Mt Hood with Andy.

I also went to Anaheim with some friends to see the supercross race. The weather couldn;t have been better. (80 and sunny) We hit up the beach just about every day. There was a local kid (Jeremy O'Driscoll) from Salt Lake there racing so it was cool see a local boy make it into mainstream supercross.

At Your Leisure

A Buddy from High School (Todd Koller) used to work Producing a Local TV show called At Your Leisure. He asked me a year or two back if I wanted to do a Motocross show with him. Sure! I replied.
I just found it online. A little Corny on my part, but hey it's me. Enjoy.

Bri-on

Got a few half-bangers the past few weeks at Brighton so decided I would show them. I love that resort. My crew and I got just about every spot on lock down there. (Don't worry ma, everything is in-bounds)

I love my kit this year. Pretty much Burton Head to toe. Analog Outerwear, Anon Gogs, Ruler Boots, 09 UnInc Binders and Board that glows in the dark! Thanks for the beanie Mo!

December fun. & Feliz Cumpleanos

Holy Cow a lot has happened in the last few weeks. I think December is my most fav. month mainly because you get to see family more often, the snow really starts to fly and we can't forget Christmas! As always here are the Haps from the past few weeks put to photos. Pictures always seem to tell a better story than I can.

BIRTHDAY

My mom had a get together for my B-day. It was fun having the family there.

We had a bunch of friends over to the house on Sunday night, it was fun having everyone there. The Skeen's hooked me up with some sweet new tie downs to keep my KXF nice and safe.

A few of my buddies and roommates got me some sweet Moto stuff. Socks, Grips, Grip Glue, and Chain Wax. I also was able to get some sweet running shoes from Reeder, and a nice shovel for when I am snowmobiling.

My twin Bro Andy was able to come into town for the holidays. We made it up to Brighton the day after Christmas for some shredding, We picked a great day as it was mostly clear and tons of pow for us to slash.

I recently bought a Snowmobile. My roommate gave me a good deal on it so i decided to go ahead and grab it. I took it out for the first time on sat with Reeder and Jared. We went to Strawberry. It was pretty fun. The snow was really deep and I kinda got the hang of it. I am looking forward to using it a bunch this winter.

2003 Polaris RMK 600 but bored to a 700. It has some other bells and whistles but I am not sure what they are. It was fun to ride though!

My roommate Jerad "Boon docking" (or as I like to say "Hooky Bobin") through some sweet powder.

This was a cool photo I took of the Sunrise in the morning on the way up 94th S. We left the house around 7:30 to head to Strawberry.

The temp. was a whopping negative seven degrees when we got up there. It was a little cold while riding but we bundled up pretty good so it wasn't too bad.

We all got together Sunday night for one last shin dig with Andy, Rachy and the boys before Andy flies back to Portland. It was fun, we all had dinner at my moms, went sledding, and ate scones and drank Hot chocolate.

I built a separate "twack" as Cole would say for the older kids. There was a little jump half way down that they were catching some air on.

And last but not least, For about a month and a half before Christmas I would Brit and ask what she was doing and half of the time she would reply "oh just working on your quilt" so I knew she had spent a lot of time on it and she didn't disappoint. She made one sweet quilt. I couldn't have asked for a cooler one! Soft on the under side and a bunch of bright colors and Logo's of Brands that I like; Burton, Oakley, Neff, Forum, dvs, etc. Thanks Brit! You did a great job.
