1st place!!
I really enjoy riding and racing my motocross bike and the first race of the year was Saturday 4/12 at Rocky Mtn. Raceway. I have raced there a few times a year in years past but this year I want to race the whole series (9 races there) and try and win my class overall and get a big trophey. I am in the over 25 Junior class. Myself, Kelly Skeen (finished 2nd in his class), Travis Skeen (finished 1st in his class), Kory and a few of his buddies all went out and raced. We all had a great time and no mater what the results in was a great evening with family and friends. I raced my two motos and I took first over all! I was very happy as I have never finished first. Here is a photo of my first place plaque. Good start to the season!

Blindsizzle
So my buddy Mo owns the Suger House Blindside and is usually able to cut away from the every day tasks of being a shop owner and go shred. I called him up on tuesday and sure enough he was down to go on Wed. We went to The Canyons and and had a great time. The snow was great as was their park. I can't believe everything is closing within a week. We were still getting fresh pow... Mo is a cool guy and I enjoy riding with him. He runs a solid snowboard/skateboard store and I would reccomend anyone to go in and check it out. Salt Lake StoreThe Salt Lake store is located in Sugarhouse. It is located on the north west corner of the Wild Oats building on Highland Dr. and 2100 South. Phone: 801-412-9200 Ask for Mo or Nick. Check out their web site. BLINDSIDE

A DAY AT THE BEAV
Yesterday Paul and I were able to go up to Beaver Mtn for their anual Big Air Contest. It turned out to be a beautiful day and although neither of us made it to the finals it was fun none the less. The had got about a foot of fresh POW the night before so the event was great but the shreding we did in the mean time was even better. Here is one of my jumps for the comp. F/S 7. Not too bad and wondered why I didn't make it to the finals but better luck next time right......

Tells
Seeing that it is warming up, I thought I would post a picture from summertime and a look into the future of what we all have to look forward to this coming summer!
Just found this photo of Brickelle and I during the summer. My ward had a "Jello Slip n' slide" FHE activity so I took Brickelle with me. We had a great time. "Tells" is always down to go along for the ride, or slide in this case.

IBALTSIHB (It's been a long time since I have blogged)
Ok so a lot has happened in the past while. I am officially back in Utah! And have done a bunch of fun stuff since moving back. I do best with sharing experiences through photos so here goes. This is going to be somewhat of a continued blog from the last. I have been slacking majorly in the "blog Department. But alas I am back. Paul and I were able to hit up The Canyons as well as Nordic Valley YES I said Nordic Valley. I grew skiing there with my mom hence it brought back a lot of memories of my early years on skis and a shred stick, they have since put in a new lift just for their "snowboard park" as well as renamed the Resort, it is called Wolf Mountain now. Check it out here Make sure and see the sky high lift ticket prices of $22! It was fun and their park was a pretty good time even though we only took 2 runs. (we were on our way home from riding at powder and were pretty pooped. Plus they never checked for passes. Nothin like free riding. Ya you guys know what I am saying. Also a half-pipe comp at park city, riding at Mesquite, and more.

My Buddy Josh Cluff (40) lives down in St. George with his wife Deanna and family. He was gracious enough to let us stay at his place, here is a pick on his youngest boy Jordan. Cute kid and really laid back just like his parents. # 3 is on the way for them and it is a girl! Good luck guys and thanks again! (40 told me he was at Fiesta Fun riding the go-carts at the same exact time the night that lady got scalped on the go-cart, he said he was pretty aw-struck and it was pretty gross. If you didn't hear about it, click here)

Cole had his 5th b-day party. We celebrated at grandmas house with some fun games like walking the plank. (walking on a 2x4 blindfolded) Careful or the sharks will gobble you up!

The Boys, Lake Tahoe, and Dead Bodies......
Benson B looking like a little Gnome.
My good buddy Lance is a Mortitian and lives in the basement of a Funeral Home. I hang there a lot and one night he was on call and had to go pick up someone that has died, so I went along with him to Adventist Medical Center. Interesting.....
So it's been a while since I have updated so here is "the whole kit and caboodle" (what does that mean anyway? Well I looked it up and you can see the meaning of The whole kit and caboodle HERE) from the last few weeks.
First Pauly and I went to Lake Tahoe for a little snowboarding trip. It was really fun and after a few hiccups with Paul's buddy that was supposed to come but bailed at the last second, we were set to go. To make a very long story short, we arrived in Reno both by plane, got our sick Ford Focus and headed for Lake Tahoe. about 20 min from the airport we had to throw the chains on the car. Not fun it a blizzard and freezing cold weather. We made it safely to our hotel, only to walk in and have the room be about the same Temp as outside.... The heater was broken. We called and they brought in a space heater and we tried that but it never warmed up the room that night. So we both went to bed, with full snow geared on and with 5 blankets on top....

Boreal in Trukee, 950 Vertical feet but a pretty fun place to ride and Friday's are College Student days. $15 bucks. Can't beat it. And yes i still attend Weber State according to them.
Slashy
This tree was pretty fun, although the tranny could have been better.
One of the nights we braved a blizzard in the aforementioned focus and went to South lake Tahoe. That is where all the casinos, hotels and restaurants are. We hit up pretty good sushi place. Pauly can down the Wasabi with the best of em as you can see from the pic. On his "Wasabi High".
It snowed all day so we made the best use of the pool area. Paul's 5-0.

Paul at pool side on the day we arrived.

My camera has an option to take 3 photos and stitch them together as a panoramic picture. I liked this one. Paul and his Un iNc 154.
The next day we went to Alpine Meadows. Although the weather wasn't very good, we still had a good time.

Ben gettin blunted on a wall.
Lake Tahoe. It's huge. Could maybe rival the GSL.
The last day we were there it dumped the night before. And of course we had to leave... Oh well, there is always next year!
